In 1958, the Vanden Berghe family set up a chocolate workshop in Ronse which focused on the production of high-quality fillings. The workshop remained in the family and the second generation of Vanden Berghes ensured strong international growth. Chocolaterie Hermes is now synonymous with quality in the US, Korea, Russia, the UK, France, Thailand, Japan and many more countries.
At the beginning of the 21st century, it was time for a fresh new start for the chocolaterie. Leander De Cauter and Caroline Goossens took over the workshop. With their passion for quality, of both the product and the taste, they are facing the future with confidence.
